Leo P. Wagner
I am a city planning graduate with a concentration in Sustainable Transportation and Infrastructure Planning. I am passionate about creating sustainable, diverse, and equitable urban spaces that apply global best practices to overcome the contemporary challenges they face. Specifically, I am interested in urban transportation and housing, languages and international development, and the intersections of these disciplines, particularly in Francophone Africa and Latin America.
My work experience has included transportation planning internships in both the public and private sectors. I have worked for Ride On, the public bus component of MCDOT, in Montgomery County, MD on a variety of planning initiatives, as well as for the city of Philadelphia's Office of Transportation, Infrastructure, and Sustainability conducting research and document creation for active and public transportation initiatives. Most recently, I worked for Fehr & Peers in Washington, DC as a transportation planning intern involved in a number of tasks using transportation planning tools introduced to me here at Weitzman in the real world, largely for local government clients in Northern Virginia.
