It was through my concurrent undergraduate education in visual arts at the University of Windsor (B.A.) and architecture at the University of Detroit Mercy (B.Arch) that I learned to synthesize placemaking as an art; as well as the inverse: to create art through placemaking. I have been able to further explore my deep interest and love for architecture as a tool for social change at the University of Pennsylvania as a Master of Architecture candidate. The past three years have been filled with unique challenges and a diverse set of studio research topics and explorations, and it has been an incredibly rewarding experience to grow as a designer.
