Maura McDaniel
I began my design path in architecture, receiving my B.S. in Architecture from the University of Minnesota. After working for a few years on projects within the public realm, I found an interest in urban design and landscape architecture. I am currently in my last semester of the Master of Landscape Architecture program at the University of Pennsylvania. I often find myself inspired by the messy entanglements of landscapes; they are places where people, ecologies, and material overlap. I enjoy situating myself deep within the mess and finding particular threads to pull on as a way to use landscape architecture to tell a story of place.
