Mojtaba Saffarian

Architectural conservation was the track I chose to pursue at the Weitzman School in my second master's of science in historic preservation. Before that, I earned my undergraduate degree in architecture and completed my first master's in restoration and revitalization at Tehran University of Art in 2019. My interests span from leveraging digital documentation, BIM, and new technology in historic preservation, to architectural design, historical research, heritage and justice issues, modern heritage, and Iranian architecture.

Thesis: Mojtaba Saffarian Point clouds showcasing varied colors in both perspective and section views, highlighting different elements for enhanced visualization and analysis during the parametrization process (Mojtaba Saffarian, 2024).

Three layers embedded into the wall of the west elevation

Thesis: Mojtaba Saffarian Three orange layers were embedded into the wall for the west elevation. Using Revit tools such as Displace Elements, the layers are separated in different directions as an advanced option for visualization (Mojtaba Saffarian, 2024).
