Growing up in New York City, I experienced firsthand the scarcity of public green spaces in urban areas, sparking my interest in enhancing access to vibrant and biodiverse landscapes. I tailored my undergraduate studies to explore the intersection of social and ecological systems, weaving together conservation studies, environmental policy, and design. This interdisciplinary exploration laid the foundation for my journey into landscape architecture.
