I am an architect and urban designer from Mumbai, deeply passionate about landscape architecture and the power of plants to shape spaces and stories. Currently pursued my graduate studies at Penn, I’m here to explore, question, and grow through design. My journey has taken me from the structured green of urban parks to the untamed beauty of wild Meadowlands—each landscape teaching me something new about ecology, culture, and myself. Working along the Hackensack River, I’ve begun to understand design as a dialogue—not just with land and water, but with language and people. This project reflects my evolving relationship with place-making, where listening and observation are just as vital as drawing and building. It’s in these in-between spaces—between city and wilderness, between people and plants—that I’ve found a voice for my work and a deeper sense of belonging in the world of landscape architecture.
