Austin White
I am a Master of Architecture candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, where I’ve had the opportunity to engage with a wide range of design strategies and techniques across scales and disciplines. My recent work explores how architecture can operate as both infrastructure and agent—supporting public engagement, ecological adaptation, and urban resilience. In my final studio, I partnered with Ethan Seemungal in Marion Wiess's studio for a project on Governors Island that reimagines the conservatory as a regenerative civic machine, integrating vertical farming, flood strategy, and environmental research. After graduation, I will be joining EwingCole Architects to further develop my technical and design skills while contributing to multidisciplinary, impact-driven projects. Over time, I hope to help influence the culture of architecture—shaping it into a more adaptive, inclusive, and systems-oriented practice.
