My interests lie in materiality and the embedded logics, histories, and cultures that live within architectural details. I’m also invested in how we represent architecture. Representation is not only a means of communication, but as a way of thinking, constructing, and situating design. I believe drawing is an act that carries historical weight and disciplinary memory. I’m curious about the pedagogies of representation: how architectural ideas are drawn, narrated, and passed on, and how these practices shape the ways architecture is observed, understood, and critiqued.
