Breland Land
Breland Land is graduating with a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. Her work focuses on creating engaging spaces that celebrate texture, light, and the human experience. She’s especially interested in how architecture can shape an atmosphere and connect people to place. Originally from Sumter, South Carolina, Breland completed her undergraduate degree in architecture at Clemson University. This semester, she pursued an independent study on the Lowcountry residential vernacular of South Carolina, diving into the architectural language of the region she calls home. Outside of studio, Breland served as Co-President of the Penn Charity Fashion Show and as a GAPSA representative, finding ways to bring people together and build community across campus. She’s excited to continue exploring design that feels grounded, thoughtful, and reactive to context.
