Byron Huang
Byron Huang is an incoming planner for the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore. His personal and professional interests cover transportation, real estate and planning. Prior to coming to Philadelphia, Byron had taken trains in 20 countries, and he is not disappointed with the railway system in the United States, despite the manifold challenges it faces.
The Urban Spatial Analytics program is truly an eye-opening experience for Byron, supported by a rich ecosystem of courses outside of the Department. Projects completed at Penn include a collaborative planning game featuring the island of Tekong and an interactive virtual reality experience on city planning in Singapore.
