Cannibalization

This course delves into the concept ofcannibalization, a strategic approach to re-using existing materials and ideas. The term "re-use" is intentionally left undefined, allowing for a wide range of interpretations and creative explorations.

Students will select one of two designated sites in Philadelphia and develop a project that  cannibalizes one or more of the aforementioned sources. The specific spatial program for each project  is to be determined individually by the student. Local building codes may be disregarded for the purpose of this exercise.
