Hao Zhu

Hao Zhu's passion lies in consulting for sustainable futures, focusing on developing smarter and greener cities. With expertise in data analysis and sustainable technology, Hao applies skills in GIS, R, and visualization tools to provide innovative solutions for urban environments. As a marketing leader for the UPenn Urban Tech Club, Hao helped organize industry-focused events, including firm crawls, technical workshops, and guest speaker sessions for students interested in urban technology.

Currently pursuing a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning at the University of Pennsylvania (2023-2025), Hao's academic journey builds upon a strong foundation in Architecture Design from the University of Washington (2018-2022). This interdisciplinary background uniquely positions Hao at the intersection of urban design, technology, and sustainability planning. Her research interests focus on micro-mobility patterns, electric vehicle infrastructure equity, and climate risk analysis - areas critical to developing resilient urban environments.

Hao's professional experience includes working with climate technology centers, where she contributed to developing assessment systems for climate risk analysis platforms, and consulting on carbon reduction strategies for urban communities. Through these experiences, Hao has developed a deep understanding of how data-driven approaches can transform urban planning decisions and advance sustainability goals.
