Jia Yue, Ong
I am passionate about the intersection of public policy and data analysis, particularly in understanding trends and addressing challenges. This passion led me to pursue a Master of Urban Spatial Analytics at the University of Pennsylvania.
During my time at Penn, I gained expertise in statistics, housing policy, and coding in R and Python. More importantly, I learned how to apply geospatial analysis to tackle social issues. With these insights, I aim to drive innovative solutions that bring positive changes to my community.
Prior to Penn, I earned a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from University College London. This summer, I will join Singapore's Ministry of Digital Development and Information, where I will support public outreach and engagement efforts.
I am committed to leveraging my skills in data analysis and geospatial technology to address public policy challenges and improve community outcomes. I am always open to connecting and discussing ideas. Feel free to reach out to me on LinkedIn!
