Jing Yan

I have always been dedicated to designing architecture that reflects and embraces local community values. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Toronto, I pursued a Master of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania, where I further developed both my design sensibilities and technical skills. My time at Penn gave me valuable insight into how architects operate globally—an exciting perspective as I continue to grow in the field. I am eager to keep expanding my knowledge while gaining hands-on experience. During summer breaks, I would intern in jobs that are related to architecture.
Beyond design, I have a strong interest in real estate development and aspire to become an architect who bridges creativity with practical needs. To support this goal, I’ve taken Wharton courses related to real estate, including Real Estate Design and Development, Real Estate Finance, Corporate Finance, and Real Estate Law.
