Jingxuan Hu
I am a Master of Science in Design (Advanced Architectural Design) candidate at the University of Pennsylvania, with a Bachelor of Architecture from Beijing University of Technology. My work explores the intersection of sustainable design and architectural theory, grounded in the belief that good design should respond not only to environmental challenges but also to the everyday joys of life. I am drawn to architecture that is both thoughtful and playful—design that sparks curiosity, invites interaction, and makes space for moments of delight. Through my graduate studies, I’ve aimed to develop a design that is critical yet optimistic, experimental yet grounded in lived experience.
