Nathan Huynh

Nathan is a Vietnamese-American architectural designer from Tysons, Virginia. His work explores how architecture operates as a framework for perception—a medium through which diverse views, beliefs, and lived experiences can intersect within a single spatial narrative. He challenges conventional notions of design, framing architecture not merely as shelter or symbol, but as a platform for dialogue, inquiry, and transformation. The architectural process is both a technical endeavor and an intellectual pursuit—one that asks how built form can embody complexity, support multiplicity, and remain open to interpretation.
Nathan holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from James Madison University and is currently pursuing a Master of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania.
In 2024, Nathan was awarded the 2nd Tier Lewis E. Dales Traveling Fellowship, supporting independent architectural travel, and also received an Honorable Mention in the Schenck-Woodman Design Competition.
