Sylvanus Narh Duamor

I am a Master of City Planning student with a concentration in land use and environmental planning. I am passionate about promoting sustainable urban development through research, advocacy and policy influence. My work focuses particularly on the intersection of environmental sustainability (especially in relation to water and energy systems) and socio-economic development. Core principles that underly my work in urban planning include sustainability, livability, justice and place-making. I have honed my skills in case-study and mixed-methods research approaches, policy analysis, comprehensive planning, impact assessment, and stakeholder engagement. Additionally, my experience in technical reporting, policy briefs, and graphic design combined with my analytical thinking skills enable me to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Looking ahead, I am committed to shaping inclusive, climate-resilient cities that empower communities and adapt effectively to the challenges of the 21st century.
