Taely Freeman

Taely is an almost graduate of the Master of Architecture program at the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design. Her design practice is grounded in a deep curiosity for experimental approaches to materiality, form, and the dynamic relationship between the built environment and the human scale. She is particularly interested in how architecture can be an immersive, sensory experience—one that emphasizes tactile expression, warmth, and craft at varying scales. Her work often explores the intersections of contemporary culture and place, with a focus on the power of context in shaping architectural identity.

Post experience at Penn, Taely aims to challenge conventional design paradigms by blending innovative forms with meaningful cultural and environmental narratives. She is committed to creating spaces that foster human interaction while celebrating design at varying ranges of scale. The evolving narrative of her design process reflects a keen interest in the roles that texture, color, and materiality play in shaping both the aesthetic and functional qualities of design. Ultimately, Taely seeks to contribute to the built environment by producing work that is thoughtful, collaborative, and deeply connected to the human experience.
