Woven Waves
With a Master of Science in Design in Advanced Architectural Design from the University of Pennsylvania, my work centers on the intersection of material logic, digital fabrication, and spatial experimentation. The Woven Waves project explores a dual-coordinate design strategy, where linear timber framing meets sculptural clay shingles through rotational transformation. A fragment of roof becomes envelopeāchallenging the boundaries between part and whole, structure and ornament. Themes of hybridity, assembly, and kitsch aesthetics are recurring interests, revealing how design can navigate between control and looseness, precision and play.
