Yujin Song
Yujin Song is a graduating Master of City Planning student at the University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in Land Use and Environmental Planning and a Certificate in Urban Spatial Analysis and GIS. She specializes in applying GIS, remote sensing, and machine learning to address environmental justice and urban resilience challenges. Her recent work includes mapping heat vulnerability in Philadelphia and analyzing urban expansion in Nairobi using remote sensing. Yujin participated in the Climate Leaders at Penn fellowship program, deepening her commitment to advancing climate action and adaptation. She has interned at the New York City Economic Development Corporation and AECOM, supporting environmental review, transportation planning, and cross-agency coordination. Originally from South Korea, Yujin is passionate about using spatial data to inform equitable and sustainable urban development.
