Zhangfan He
Zhangfan He is an architectural designer with a strong interest in human-centered and sustainable design. He will graduate from the University of Pennsylvania’s Weitzman School of Design with a Master of Architecture in May 2025. His work explores how spatial systems can support comfort, wellness, and ecological responsibility across diverse programmatic contexts. With internship experience at firms including HKS and Gensler, he has contributed to various scale projects that integrate environmental performance with user-centered thinking. His recent research and studio work investigate how computational tools and enclosure design can respond to both human needs and climate imperatives. Grounded in both digital precision and social awareness, his design process aims to create spaces that are responsive, inclusive, and future-oriented.
