We are back in the ‘office’ from the Memorial Day weekend and wanted to start the week on a great note by sharing this news: Last month the American Rivers announced the River of the year for 2020, and it was our very own Delaware River! Once upon a time the Delaware River was filled with toxins, so much so that aquatic life was nowhere to be found. Now, we can’t keep Atlantic sturgeon and American shad away! The Delaware River earned its new title by achieving four goal, one of which is “Federal, regional and state application of clean water protection.” You can read about the other three goals in the Green Cities article here.
