The Weitzman School of Design has provided me with wonderful experiences and I relish the interdisciplinary education that I've had here as a young architect and preservationist. I deeply appreciate the positive role that architecture and design can play in society, and I’m interested in the intersection of contemporary design and technology as it relates to the historic built environment. My thesis is a culmination of my studies and incorporates my interests in sustainability and rehabilitation. It is a design study at the Midway Barn at Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin in which I strive to balance environmental design and technology with historic preservation as a way to enhance the interpretation and vitality of the site.
