Personal Statement:
After graduating from Rutgers University with a B.A. in art history and a certificate in cultural heritage and preservation studies, Jennifer was able to work on several archaeological investigations in Peru, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. She then entered a Masters program at the Institute of Fine Arts (IFA), NYU to continue her archaeological education. At the IFA, she completed a seminar paper on military necessity and its effects on cultural property. This research, ultimately, led her to the University of Pennsylvania's historic preservation program.
