Jiehao Zhu

Jiehao Zhu is from Wuhan, China. She joined Master of City Planning program with a concentration on public private development in the Class of 2021 to dedicate herself to her passion which lies at the intersection of property development, urban governance and global studies. Her work and life experiences in China, Europe and United States have inspired her curiosity about various people, places, cultures, political regimes, and their interactions. During the two-tear program, she worked as a research assistant at Penn Praxis on the Glassboro Growth Management Plan and spent a summer with Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission as an associate planner.
The Class of 2021 has overcome numerous obstacles in this challenging time. Her experience at Penn not only prepared her in the professional perspective, but she found friendships and support that will last a lifetime as well. For everything lucky or unlucky, she is forever grateful.
