Merrick Castillo

Merrick Castillo is part of the graduating class of 2021 at the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design. Merrick will graduate with a Master's Degree in Architecture. His design work closely explores ideas of atmosphere, materiality, and representation. Merrick has held Teaching Assistant positions at many levels at the University of Pennsylvania, including Digi-Blast Intro Seminar, 501 Core Studio, 601 Housing Studio, and 602 Comprehensive Studio. Merrick’s design projects in all studios created while at the Stuart Weitzman School of Design were nominated or published for the annual design book, Pressing Matters. Merrick will continue working in architecture as a designer in Brooklyn, NY.
