Natalia Revelo La Rotta

Natalia, originally from Bucaramanga, Colombia, is a recent graduate from the Master of Architecture program at the Stuart Weitzman School of Design. Her work focuses on bridging her personal interests of social justice and architecture/design and explores how this can manifest as spatial justice in a pursuit of spaces that promote equity, collectivization, care, and justice. This work began with a curiosity for understanding the relationship between space and justice and is currently evolving to include developing strategies of resistance to spatial injustice, with the hope of re-politicizing the profession to embody spatial justice unconditionally. Her work is complimented by her activism as a founding member of Inclusion in Design.

Natalia has also been a Research Assistant in the Autonomous Manufacturing Lab, for the past two years, where she worked on projects that focused on developing strategies for ceramic 3D printing.
