Qinghong Xu

I am Qinghong, coming from Canton, China. I get my master’s degree in Landscape Architecture and Urban Design Certificate at Weitzman School. Besides, I also study knowledge about entrepreneurship at Wharton School. For me, two years is really a short time and I still remember the opening ceremony as if it were yesterday. I do appreciate my journey to Philly and PennDesign, the greatest graduate school on this planet! I love my major and also everyone fighting together in Meyerson Hall. We all come here for passion and ambition. I am also grateful to all the tutors I’ve met here. Their unparalleled wisdom brings me to a higher level. As an alumnus from Penn community, I hope I could always keep the curiosity for this world and achieve remarkable success in my future career.

Last but not least, if you ask me why I decide to learn Landscape Architecture, I will think of the motto carved in a stone chair of Swarthmore College during my first field trip: Nature never did betray the heart that loved her. — William Wordsworth. This is the answer for me and also for my life.
