Anne Greening

Anne has focused her graduate studies in historic preservation policy and planning. Before pursuing a graduate degree in historic preservation, she received Bachelor’s degrees in historic preservation and history from Southeast Missouri State University. Her experiences working for the State Historic Preservation Office of Iowa and the San Francisco Planning Department reinforced her passions for maintaining communities’ unique sense of place through preservation and advocacy in state and local government. Her thesis analyzes current practices of Statewide Historic Preservation Planning, which is a cyclical requirement for all State Historic Preservation Offices to create a unified vision and goals for preservation in their state.
