Caitlin Livesey

Caitlin is completing her Master of Science in historic preservation with a concentration in architectural conservation. After earning her B.A. in history with minors in chemistry and American studies at the University of Richmond, Caitlin found that conservation was a natural fit to bring these varied interests together. She has been fortunate to work with several projects and internships over the past two years, including research into the impact of climate change on built heritage, a multifarious site assistantship with the Woodlands, and a fellowship with the Center for Architectural Conservation, an opportunity that inspired her thesis work. Caitlin is looking forward to continuing her research into biophilic protective surface treatments for stone substrates this summer.
