I am always enthusiastic about exploring urban-related issue. MUSA brings me plentiful skills about programming, spatial analysis, design and planning. Upon my graduation from MUSA, I would continue my urban studies as a PhD student in the University of Florida, with a concentration of transportation engineering.
This is a final project of the course MUSA 611 Javascript programming. Ziyi, Yebei, and I developed a rocky mountain tourism web app using HTML, CSS and Javascript programming. It includes the following sections:
1. story map: this part includes a brief introduction about the Rocky Mountain National Park, some famous landmarks in the park and also the route from Denver International Airport to four different entrances.
2. tourism application: this part includes service user might want to know about in the park like camping site, pinic location, hiking path, etc.
I am mainly responsible for project proposal, data collection and creating the application part.
Hope that our app could provide some guidance and convenience on vistors when travelling through the rocky mountain!
