Lisa Knust

Lisa Knust is a graduating Master of Architecture student from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to attending Penn, she received her Bachelor of Science in Architecture, as well as a minor in interior design, from Ball State University.

Through her varied educational and professional experiences, Lisa has developed a deep interest in designing at the intersection of the digital and physical. She firmly believes that analog models and modes of hand fabrication can work to inform and enhance methods of digital design and always enjoys the opportunity to incorporate model building and working with her hands into her design projects.

Lisa is also interested in the design potentials of mass timber construction and will continue exploring mass timber design and material investigations in Connecticut following graduation.
