Madison Tousaw

Before coming to Philadelphia, Madison graduated from Carleton University with her Bachelor of Architecture (Design). After school, she took a year off to work for John Donkin Architect, a small firm in Ottawa, Ontario. Since at Weitzman she has found a range of interests including adaptive re-use, urban resiliency and sustainability. Through her various studios she has also discovered a passion for the integration of landscape and architecture to better develop community spaces. As a graduate student, she has been a Teaching Assistant for various classes including coordination of the First-Year studio and Environmental Systems II. In addition to these teaching positions, she has helped work alongside Andrew Saunders in the creation and development of the new Weitzman_Arch “Work in Progress” Instagram series.
