Wenjing Fang
“Only after stepping in the garden in person can one fully immerse herself in this beautiful spring”. The magic of Chinese opera made me aware of what “beauty” is for the first time in my life. Landscape architecture is such a secret garden, filled up with my desire to create my definition of beauty.
My name is Wenjing from Xiangyang, China. I will graduate from UPenn Design with my master's degree in landscape architecture and a certificate in urban design in the approaching May. I also hold an architecture background and graduated with a B.Arch. degree from Tsinghua University in China. During my gap year 2020-2021, I worked as a landscape intern in Sasaki, Shanghai, and an urban design intern in Aecom, Beijing.
