Yani Liu

Yani is dedicated to becoming a cross-disciplinary designer who breaks the boundaries of the disciplines. In the past eight years, she has expanded her design horizons from architectural design to large-scale landscape architecture and regional planning, from place-shaping to service-delivering, from interaction with tangible resources to interaction with tangible technologies, and from regional accessibility to global benefits. She hopes to use the latest technological tools to put urban design research into practice and truly bring design and poetry into people's lives. While attending Penn, she worked for one year at Lab D+H and SWA.
