Evaluating and Forecasting for Philadelphia’s Bike Share Expansion

Client: Office of Transportation, Infrastructure, and Sustainability, and Bicycle Transit Systems

Philadelphia’s bike share system, Indego, has provided communities across the city access to public bikes for over eight years. OTIS hopes to continue to expand the bikeshare network while optimizing ridership, accessibility, and equity. To support their efforts, we have created a tool to evaluate different expansion scenarios across these three metrics.
