Forecasting Bus Transit Alternatives in El Paso, Texas

Client: El Paso Capital Improvements Department

The El Paso Capital Improvements Department wants to understand how bus transit alternative scenarios can optimize both revenue and equity. We built a latent bus transit demand model based on 2022 bus ridership data and an evaluative web app to assess new route lines on how they perform on revenue and equity metrics in comparison to current lines.
