Pedestrian Crash Risk Factors

This project aims to identify whether neighborhood and traffic characteristics contribute to pedestrian crashes in Reading City after controlling for census tract variation. Demographics and roadway factors such as lane widths, speed, and volume will be examined. The goal is to understand the causes of accidents and suggest interventions to reduce them.
