YIMBY Development Dashboard

Our project, titled "YIMBY" (Yes In My BackYard), focuses on evaluating the neighborhood-level impacts of multifamily development in Philadelphia. Through the creation of an interactive web-based dashboard, we aimed to answer several key questions. What type of economic and spatial impact has new multifamily development had on Philadelphia neighborhoods? Can data be used to persuade Registered Community Organizations (RCOs) which engage in defensive zoning practices, to embrace new development? Are there consistent zoning patterns in neighborhoods that experience higher levels of multifamily development, and do certain neighborhoods require zoning variances more often than others?
