Tonight at 5:30- Transforming Urban Spaces into Gathering Places

There are so many reasons why we love our city but one major reason is how Philadelphia is such a leading city in creating gathering places out of otherwise unused space. You cannot walk in any neighborhood without passing an old vacant lot that has been brought back to life with a flourishing garden or other kind of community space- it's so lovely! Tonight WHYY and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society will be hosting a happy hour panel at 36th and Filbert to discuss creative ways to transform unused spaces into engaging gathering places for the community. For more information click here.
