PennDesign’s graduate architecture programs were again ranked among the top 10 in the U.S. by hiring managers at firms nationwide, according to the latest survey by DesignIntelligence.
“The choice of where to go to architecture school is a big question,” write Anna Fixsen and Suzanne Stephens in reporting the 2018 rankings in Architectural Record. “We were encouraged by the positive dynamic of the faculty to lean in, keep learning, and explore the many new approaches and technologies impacting the profession,” DesignIntelligence president and CEO David Gilmore told Record in an interview about the implications of the latest findings and the future of architecture education.
PennDesign shared the top tier of the rankings with Harvard, Columbia, Cornell, Yale, MIT, UCLA; following PennDesign were UC Berkeley, USC, and WUSTL.
