Daniel D. Shin

Daniel Shin is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Master of Architecture program at the Stuart Weitzman School of Design and will remain in Philadelphia for his employment at an architecture firm. He moved to the United States at the age of 12 from South Korea and currently serves in the U.S. Army Reserve as an Engineer Officer. He has completed two professional internship opportunities in the summer, at KTGY in Oakland, CA, and HKS Inc. in Los Angeles, CA.

Daniel is passionate about challenging today’s success and innovating for tomorrow’s design. He plans to develop his knowledge and skills while closely working with a licensed architect and establish his own firm in the near future. He looks forward to practicing the skills learned at Penn to contribute to improving our community.
