My architectural interests are focused on how building designs integrate into larger urban infrastructures that not only benefit the programmatic demands but provide greater value to the community and urban fabric as well. Over the last year my studies on urban resilience and designing with risk have helped me understand how design can enable us to improve our ability to adapt to our changing environment and rethink how infrastructure is built and integrated into the public realm.

Prior to Penn, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structures in 2013. My interests in architecture and engineering led me to work in construction management in between summers as an undergraduate. Excited by the problem-solving nature of the projects I was involved with and the teams I worked with, I continued to work in construction management as a Project Manager for Shawmut Design and Construction for 4 years before making the transition to pursue a masters.

I am excited to build from my education and take my interests in the relationship between architecture, sustainability, and the urban experience forward, and find opportunities that allow me to make the greatest [positive] impact on our environment.
