Shuyang Wang

Shuyang Wang is a young designer who is particularly interested in exploring interactions between humans and the environment through landscape, urban, and installation design. He believes environmental design can bring multisensory experiences and change how people see the world. His approach to design involves rational problem solving, capturing invisible and ephemeral landscape traces, and celebrating cultural identities. He has developed an aesthetic interest in creating elegant and exquisite forms and testing innovative materials and representation techniques.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture (BSLA) degree from the University of California, Davis in 2016, and a Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA 1) degree from the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design in 2020.
