Yibing (Grace) Zheng

Yibing Zheng is from Inner Mongolia, China. Inspired by the bike-friendly culture of her hometown, she joined the Master of City Planning program in the Class of 2020 to dedicate herself to her passion of micromobility and mass transit. She developed particular interests in spatial and quantitative analysis using big data at Penn. It is fascinating work to develop sustainable transportation solutions, to perform data analysis, and to assess impacts of infrastructure investments and land use policies. She enjoys creating maps and visualizations in an aesthetic and crystal clear way according to her undergraduate background in urban design and her painting hobby. As a woman from a minority race, she is proud of herself for being a social equity advocate who keeps listening to the voices of the voiceless. About to graduate from Penn, she is ready to embrace her new career life as a transportation planner.
