Yujing Wu

Yujing is on her way to becoming a geospatial geek. During her time as a MUSA student, she has completed a variety of projects including suitability analysis for floodplain restoration, visualization of sea level rise inundation, and training machine learning models to identify urban slums in Argentina. Through these projects, she has honed her skills in analyzing geospatial data with ArcGIS, Python, R, and Google Earth Engine. She enjoys exploring the application of GIS in food security, natural resource management, and the mitigation of climate change. Before coming to Penn, she studied at the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Sciences.
