Understanding and Forecasting the Community Impacts of Structure Fire

Client: Philadelphia Fire Department

The Philadelphia Fire Department (PFD) has limited knowledge about what happens after a fire is out and their job is complete. This project supports the Fire Department by reporting what obstacles there are to recovery, forecasting what would happen to most residences in Philadelphia after a fire, then recommending appropriate interventions. With this knowledge, the PFD and its partners are better equipped to create intervention programs to help Philadephians recover faster from fires.
