The Capstone in Design for Sustainability is the culmination of the Executive Program in Design for Sustainability. In this course, you will synthesize the lessons learned; XD 101, 102, 103, and 104. Students will create a unique 3-D model or update an existing 3-D model to optimize the building for maximum comfort and sustainable performance. Students will use a variety of building design simulation tools to assist them in making the best design decisions possible.
Elective course in the Weitzman Executive Professional Series (XPS) or as a Stand-Alone Course.

1. Firsthand knowledge on the techniques and strategizes for integrating sustainable design approaches for a unique project.
2. Deeper experience with simulation tools as related to unique 3-D architectural solutions.
3. An opportunity to work with highly skilled and experienced sustainable design professionals who will provide ongoing feedback during the design process.
4. The opportunity to make a final presentation to a group of sustainable design experts.
This is a non-credit course for working professionals taught at the graduate level.
