Fabrication Lab

For the safety of the faculty, staff, and students, the Fabrication Lab will open for the 2020-2021 Academic Year as a contact-free digital fabrication outsource during the period of modified operations due to the coronavirus pandemic. Laser cutting, CNC Routing, and 3D Printing are available to all University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design students and to all students enrolled in ancillary Weitzman courses.

Please review the documents listed in the Fabrication Lab’s section of this website for information on how to remotely access the Lab’s services, how to register on all scheduling software, and how to correctly format and submit files for laser cutting, CNC milling, and 3D printing.For more information, please view the Lab’s YouTube playlist.

Hours of Operation

The Lab will operate Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm

Help Window Hours

A “Help Window” will be open Monday through Thursday, from 9:00am to 6:00pm and on Fridays from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
