Midterm elections will be held on Tuesday, November 8, and Monday, October 24 is the deadline for registering to vote in the state of Pennsylvania. Eligible voters and people who are ineligible to vote but interested in this election can all participate in Get Out the Vote initiatives and other election support.
At this clinic hosted by faculty members Sharon Hayes, Michelle Lopez, and Lisa Servon, and staff members Kayla Richards and Adio Royster, the topics addressed will include:
voter eligibility
first-time voter registration
changing your registration from another state
voting in Pennsylvania
mail-in or absentee ballot processes
Get Out the Vote initiatives and other ways to participate in the upcoming election
The clinic is open to all Weitzman students, faculty and staff, irrespective of voter eligibility. There are ways for everyone to participate and/or support this critical moment for the city and the state.
Register to vote, ask questions about the process and share ideas about how to participate in this important election!
